On Russian New Year's Eve, Misha wanders between houses of Russian immigrant celebrants in Kiryat Gat. Dressed as Santa Claus, he reads poetry to his guests in an attempt to repay a major debt. Misha’s daughter Sivan, already settled in Israel, is embarrassed by her father's appearance. When she discovers his plan to leave Israel and return to Ukraine, they are forced to reexamine their relationship.
