Kuni Lemel in Tel-Aviv
A Film by: Joel Silberg
(Israel, 1977, 90 Minutes, Color, Hebrew, English subtitles, Cast: Ze'ev Berlinsky, Mike Burstyn,            Mandy Rice-Davies, Daliah Gur, Itamar Gurevich)

Brooklyn octogenarian Kuni Lemel (Mike Burstyn) is so determined to have his twin grandsons (also played by Burstyn) marry Jewish girls and move to Israel that he offers them a $5 million incentive.        But there are two big problems: One grandson is a withdrawn yeshiva student, while the other is in love with a gentile (Mandy Rice-Davies). Writer-director Joel Silberg helms this contemporary retelling of a  well-known Jewish folk legend.
