Turn Left at the End of the World

A Film by: Avi Nesher
(Israel, 2004, 108 Minutes, Color, Hebrew/ French, English subtitles, Cast: Neta Garty, Liraz Charchi, Aure Atika, Jean Benguigui)

With its feel good vibes and sympathetic look at rarely discussed immigrant communities in Israel, “Turn Left at the End of the World” has humor and charm. Set in the late ’60s, the story focuses on two teenage girls from different cultural backgrounds who break through their families’ resentments to forge a bond of friendship.
