It is Yom HaZikaron, Israeli Memorial Day. Seventeen year old Shir skips school, evades her mom and, on the spinning wheels of her skateboard, tries as hard as she can to run away from her memories of her brother.
This coming of age story offers a new and different take on Israel’s complex reality as it follows young Shir who tries to forget what everyone is forced to remember.
